I’ve spent six years making infrastructure boring.
I’m a senior platform & DevOps engineer in Bengaluru, India, working on a small platform team at Evolent Health. In plain terms, my job is to make it easier and safer for other engineers to ship — building the shared foundation our applications run on, and the self-service tooling that lets teams move without waiting on us. Before Evolent, Deutsche Telekom and ValueLabs.
I’m drawn to the unglamorous work that quietly pays off: the reusable building block that saves four teams from solving the same problem five different ways, the monitoring setup that answers questions for a fraction of what it used to cost, the guardrail that catches a security issue before it reaches production. Lately, a lot of that is helping AI do some of the operational heavy lifting— spotting problems earlier, and turning a confusing cloud bill into something a team can act on.
Good infrastructure is the kind nobody notices — it just works. That’s rather the point, and it’s the work I care most about. I write here about what I’ve learned along the way.
